At a very young age I always loved fashion and the idea of designing my own clothing brand was a huge dream of mine. I love that clothing can make you feel all different ways, comfortable, stylish, beautiful, and trendy. I studied Fashion Merchandising in college and fell in love with the process of design and marketing of fashion. What elevated this passion even more was participating in the creation of a fashion show. Over the years my passion moved in a different creative direction to the world of portrait photography. I feel like my knowledge of photography along with my knowledge of posing, lighting, and styling has all led me to this point.
Creating Words Can’t Describe has been a labor of love! It has been many months working with a graphic designer to get the overall feel of my brand and esthetic to bring it to life. My first custom clothing item I launched is my green hooded sweatshirt. I have also worked many months with a manufacturer creating this piece to feel high-end and comfy with some modern touches. For instance, my brand name on the back is in raised puff letters, I wanted the hood of the sweatshirt to look and feel more structured and I wanted the pockets to be large. This piece will also be 100% cotton for that soft cozy feel.
I plan to evolve the brand with other clothing items over time. But for now I am excited to share more of the process with you on my social media accounts.
